Trinity Blood

The series takes place an indeterminate time in the future, 500 years after the apocalyptic war between all of Earth’s nations destroyed civilization, but after humanity reestablished itself. In this future world, the Roman Catholic Church has become a major military power, whose goals include the protection of humanity against the vampiric Methuselahs, who war upon humankind or "Terrans”. Both sides in this conflict are in a barely-contained cold war against each other. The current countries uses the "lost technologies," remnants of advanced technology that survived the apocalyptic war, to defend against each other. To investigate and defend their peace, a priest called Father Abel Nightroad who is a Krsniks*, travels through the countries as a representative for the Vaticans, is also part of "AX", a special operations group controlled by the Cardinal Catherina to perform various special missions. On his journey, he encountered a young girl called Sister Esther Blanchett  (”Star of Hope”) who will hold the position of the next queen of Albion. Just as the Empire and the Vaticans are in peace, ”RosenKreuz Orden, the Contra Mundi, the Enemy of the World ” guided by Cain Nightroad a third power, appeared to spark of war between the Methuselah and Terrans by assasinations and terrorisum. Who is Abel Nightroad and Cain Nightroad really are? And what is Krsniks?
