On the first day of high school a beautiful girl named Suzumiya Haruhi introduces herself as having "no interest in ordinary humans, and call out to Aliens, Time Travelers, Sliders and Espers to join her". Kyon who sits in front of Haruhi and is the only person who Haruhi talks to. Watching her weird behaviour, Kyon commented about Haruhi joining every club in school and then quitting, he unwittingly gives Haruhi an idea to start her own club! Thereby and after Kyon, Mikuru (small and cute girl with alot emotions), Yuki (who only reads), Koizumi (a transfered student in the mid sem) find themselves dragged literally, into Haruhi club called SOS Brigade for short.
